Albissola, how to enhance a territory? this was the task during the workshop of local development. Applying a design thinking approach, we explore new ideas to show the strengths of this typical territory of Italy. After running a strategic analysis to understand the potential of the area we define a concept where the goal is to reinforce and rediscover the local identity of Albisola through the interaction of people and art. Being the last mentioned, the principal characteristic of the heritage of Albisola represented by the ceramic. Our idea is to have a living museum where the territories of Albisola Marina, Albisola Superiore, and Cairo Montenotte become a living canvas for the community and visitors to interact and enhance using ceramics as a platform.
